Project Based Learning is significantly different from traditional learning. It engages learners in deep studies as well as makes learning fun. It motivates them to spend more time on their learning. On projects, the learners work in groups catering to challenging issues. They identify the actual problem, gather information from different sources, and synthesise that. Thus, working on projects gives a chance to the learners to visualise and analyse the problems that people face in the real world. Researches on the outcome of PBL show that the learning outcomes of PBL are far better than the traditional method.

One of the best merits of the PBL method is that it provides meaningful knowledge. Everything that is served in books or on the internet may not serve the purpose of the learner. Project Based Learning enables them to extract knowledge that is purposively meaningful to them.
