Spread of the coronavirus to be controlled

Coronavirus continues to affect people globally without any cure. Measures like social distancing and isolation can only prevent it from spreading. These words, which seem very simple to practice, are not as easy as their lengths. Despite several collective efforts of common people and governments, the spread of virus is not under control. The virus has globally infected 13,280,060 people. The U.S. citizens top the corna cases list with total 3,481,680 infected people. Since there is no cure for this disease, the only way to control the spread of coronavirus is to break its chain of spread.

Measures to control the spread of the virus

The U.S. government is putting lots of efforts to control the spread of coronavirus. It is focusing on identifying the source person of the virus and his network. The government has increased the number of tests each day and tracing the contacts of infected people rapidly. As of now, the U.S. government has tested 43,310,827 people, i.e. 130,820 people per million. Their government has also issued guidelines for social distancing. As the country is back to work once again, there is a need to focus more on precautions. The students are back to their universities, offices have reopened, the world is set to reopen. The private individuals and authorities are coming together to save lives. Institutions are taking measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus and ensure the smooth working of the economy.

Northeastern University has decided to conduct testing for coronavirus as one of the integral components of ensuring the safety of everyone. The university is providing free tests to determine if people are infected with the coronavirus. It will facilitate testing for students, faculty, staff, and other employees on and off the Boston campus. The university is about to apply an anterior nasal swab method in which participants will swab their nostrils themselves. The testing will be conducted under the guidance of clinical administrators, who can guide three participants at a time. This practice will not only help in the identification of infected people, but it will also minimise the risk of spread of the virus to healthcare providers. The university has also made arrangements for self-isolation of students, faculty, and other employees on the campus.
